In order to achieve 100% Completion in Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition, the player must defeat all 14 racers (26 including rematches) in all three cities (including the U.S. Championship Series), win all tournaments and club races. Upon fulfilling the said tasks, the Cadillac Sixteen will be unlocked and a copy of the car will be placed in the player's garage (unless it is full, where the player will be given $250,000 under these circumstances).
It is not necessary to complete all the club races or additional racers before completing the U.S. Championship Series, in order to achieve 100% completion, as they may be undertaken post-game at any time, which can lead to higher payouts for the club races. The non-Tokyo tournaments can be done anytime after they open, but they may have stronger opposition driving the Chrysler ME Four-Twelve, Lamborghini Murciélago Coupe, McLaren F1 LM, Saleen S7 or the Mercedes-Benz CLK GTR, with the REMIX edition also having opponents driving the Pagani Zonda C-12 S if one decides to do them late in the storyline. The same applies to certain racers who may become optional if one of them was already defeated, namely, Carlos or Bishop, along with one of the Dre/Cheng or Vito/Naomi pair, though opponents may also appear in the Class A Sport Bikes, or races exclusive to the U.S. Championship Series can be re-played in these racers.
Completing the Tokyo Challenge is necessary to attain 100% completion in Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition REMIX, as 23% of the REMIX edition's progress is tied to the Tokyo Challenge, though not required to win the Cadillac Sixteen or can be attempted even before completing the US Career, however, the Tokyo City Races pay less if the player has not yet become U.S. Champion.
Achieving 100% Completion in the main Career Mode[]
Assuming the said requirements, the player will land the Cadillac Sixteen at either the final race of Cheng, Naomi, any U.S. Championship Series racer, any Club Race or any career Tournament.
Racers[]
- Defeat all 14 (26) street racers, namely
- Defeat all 7 U.S. Championship Series racers. There are two in each city, or three in the case of Detroit. Except for the motorcycle club representatives (who uses the bike that is a prize for winning all club races in their club), all club racers return in high-end exotics (though Angel instead downgrades from the Saleen S7 to the Cadillac Cien for the U.S. Championship series).
- The following racers who took part in the U.S. Championship Series are:
- San Diego: Spider, Vanessa
- Atlanta: Angel, Lamont
- Detroit: Ceasar, Kioshi, Roy
- The following racers who took part in the U.S. Championship Series are:
Tournaments[]
Club Races[]
- Complete all races of the following clubs (13-16 total; averaging 4-6 races per city)
- Unbeatable Street Racers - Tuners (13 races; defeat Vanessa; Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec (R34))
- American Royalty Car Club - Muscle Cars (15 races; defeat Carlos; Chevrolet Corvette (C3))
- Luxury Rollers Car Club - Luxury Sedans (14 races; defeat Bishop; Mercedes-Benz CL 55 AMG)
- Chopper of America Bike Club - Choppers (15 races; defeat Phil; Hotmatch Skully)
- Big Playas - SUV/Trucks (15 races; defeat Dre or Lamont; Mercedes-Benz G55 AMG)
- Original Riders - Sport Bikes (14 races; defeat Vito; Kawasaki Ninja ZX-12R)
- Completing both motorcycle clubs will also unlock the Kawasaki Police 1000.
- By Invitation Only - Exotics (16 races; defeat Ceasar; Chrysler ME Four-Twelve)
Tokyo Challenge[]
In Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition REMIX, the addition of Tokyo adds a separate Career Mode experience that is set in the city itself, accounting for 23% overall completion of the game.
- Win 34 City Races required to open all Tokyo Tournaments. A cutscene will be triggered after winning the 34th City Race.
- Win all 11 Tokyo Tournaments. Unlike tournaments in the US Career Mode, these tournaments require a specific vehicle type (marked in ), or vehicle performance class (marked in ).
- Each of the 11 tournaments represent each available vehicle type and performance class.
- 6 of the tournaments can be played without starting career mode, the remaining 5 can be opened before entering Career Mode, but are unplayable until the player has obtained a vehicle of the said restrictions.
Non-Required Tasks[]
Below is a list of things which will not count towards 100% completion, but will unlock certain unlockables as well.
- Collect all 36 Rockstar collectibles (12 in each US city).
- 12 unlocks Flag Vinyls
- 24 unlocks Rockstar License Plates
- 36 unlocks Police and Race Starters as motorcycle riders
Rewards[]
Attaining 100% completion in the main US career mode will unlock the Cadillac Sixteen and add a copy of the car to their garage (or $250,000 if the player's garage is full or has hacked their save to obtain a Sixteen early.)
Completing the Tokyo Challenge unlocks the Tokyo Cop variant of the Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec (R34), which can be added to their garage for $0, but cannot be used in Career Mode/Tokyo Challenge due to being a police car.
Notes[]
- In San Diego and Atlanta, there are certain racers who can become optional, allowing one to progress through the story without defeating them, though they are still required to be defeated at any point of their career to attain 100% completion namely:
- One of Carlos or Bishop is required to progress to Phil, though the other becomes optional, provided they defeat Vanessa without defeating the other of the two semi-optional racers.
- In addition to defeating Roy and Lamont, plus Roy's first rematch, the player is also required defeat a pair listed as follows, as the latter of each pair will gatekeep the entry to Detroit until defeating one of the pairs listed below plus the aforementioned racers listed above:
- Therefore, the player can leave three of the above racers (Bishop or Carlos, and either Dre/Cheng or Vito/Naomi) until after the U.S. Championship series to increase their payouts from winning each of their races, though other opponents will be driving any of the cars mentioned below, sometimes Class A Sport Bikes.
- As the player progresses through the career, opponents will drive faster cars, especially in the late-game or after the U.S. Championship Series, opponents in tournaments or hookmen races will be driving the Chrysler ME Four-Twelve, Lamborghini Murciélago Coupe, McLaren F1 LM, Saleen S7, Mercedes-Benz CLK GTR, or the Pagani Zonda C-12 S (REMIX only), or occasionally, any of the Class A Sport Bikes in the unfinished hookmen races, making tournaments or the yet to be defeated racers extremely difficult for most vehicles, though sometimes, opponents in Carlos, Bishop, Dre or Cheng's races will be driving the same vehicle as the hookman.
- If the player leaves any Club Races, Tokyo Challenge races, or semi-optional racers until after completing the U.S. Championship Series, their payouts will significantly increase, ranging from a bare minimum of $12,000 to a maximum of around $26,000.
- Therefore, it is recommended to avoid Club Races, except for Zone-using classes (eg. Tuner, Exotic). The reason for this is due to the Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec (R34) and Chrysler ME Four-Twelve being useful during the later part of Career, with the Skyline being useful for situations before unlocking Class A vehicles and Exotics, and the Four-Twelve for endgame races.
- Also for the Tokyo Challenge, it can be advised to avoid doing this mode until the player becomes the US Champion, except for doing the By Invitation Only Tournament in order to win the Gemballa F355 to help them in the By Invitation Only club races in order to win the Chrysler ME Four-Twelve if they want to win this car before unlocking Class A vehicles, due to the payouts for the -marked city races also dependent on the career progression, just like the Club Races.
