The Ascent is a vehicle featured in Midnight Club: Street Racing and is available in three models: the 235, the 237si and the 470 ds.
Description[]
The Ascent vehicles are inspired by German sedans of the late 90s-early 2000s, with Mercedes-Benz and BMW being notable examples, but it is also inspired by Japanese luxury sedans of its time, like Acura and Lexus. The 235 has the grille design from the 2001 Acura CL with a generic front bumper design and taillights from the BMW 3-Series. The 237si and the 470ds have a grille from Mercedes-Benz cars and headlights from a Honda Civic, although their taillight designs are different; the 237si has the taillights from the Nissan Silvia (S15), whereas the 470ds' taillights have a generic design.

Trivia[]
- Ascent is a climb or walk to the summit of a mountain or hill or an instance of rising through the air, which is a reference to the car's fast specifications.
- In the game's introduction, the Ascent 470ds is depicted often. However, instead of its default white color, it features yellow as its main color. This leads the players to think that this is either a simple change in color, or perhaps an earlier version of this car.
- The main sponsor of the cars is GReddy.
- The 470ds is the vehicle model inside the "lock crate," although it has subtle differences, like lack of detail and loss of both mirrors (to fit in the box, presumably).
