The Atlanta DUB Tournament is a tournament that appears in Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition that is hosted by DUB Magazine and is located in Atlanta.

The winner of the tournament is awarded a DUB-customized Cadillac Escalade EXT, a C-Class Sport Utility Truck, along with $9,000, which serves as a way to get the player started in the Big Playas, a club that specializes in SUV/Trucks, though the club does not immediately challenge the player, until they defeat one of Dre or Lamont.

Summary

When the player defeats Vanessa's first rematch, a cutscene triggers where the player is sent to Six-One-Nine Customs, introducing them to Vince, the mechanic in Detroit. Oscar mentions that the player has been building a reputation as a skilled racer, and that there are some big time races in Atlanta that the player may be interested in.

The player then is informed of the tournament opening in Atlanta and the player must head to the City Movers or exit back to the main menus and reselecting cities to be able to go from San Diego to Atlanta, along with calls that Dre, Roy and Vito are looking for a challenger. From there, the player can take part in the tournament to win a DUBbed out Cadillac Escalade EXT, which was set up to give the player an SUV/Truck to get started in the Big Playas club races, though the club will not challenge the player until they have defeated Dre or Lamont.

The player races through four races in Atlanta.

The tournament opens once the player defeats Vanessa's first rematch and opens Atlanta.

Rewards

Upon completing the tournament, the player earns $9,000 and a DUB-customized Cadillac Escalade EXT being added to their garage, as well as being unlocked for purchase.

If the player has a full garage upon winning the tournament, or having already obtained the Escalade EXT early through illegitimate means, the player will be compensated with $81,740 instead.

Trivia

• This is one of the tournaments that coincide with the entry of the player to a specific club race, that opens before the club challenges the player, as the Big Playas can challenge the player after defeating either Dre or Lamont.
