BMW (abbreviation of Bayerische Motoren Werke AG) is a German automotive manufacturer that indirectly appears in Midnight Club: Street Racing and Midnight Club II. The company manufacturers luxury vehicles and motorcycles, and is headquartered in Munich, Bavaria, Germany. BMW also has a history of motorsports involvement, especially in touring cars, sports cars, open-wheel racing and the Isle of Man TT.

Logo History[]
The BMW logo has had 8 different designs throughout its history. The famous symbol of blue and white squares inside a circle has been retained for almost 90 years. One symbolic meaning of the logo is an image of an airplane rotating at high speed against the blue sky. Another explanation is related to chess, where the strategic thinking of BMW allowed them to outdo their competitors in both World Wars. This helped to preserve and develop production, even in terrible conditions. The colors of the logo are said to represent the flag of Bavaria. [2]
