Midnight Club Wiki

Class C depicts mid-low tier vehicles in the Midnight Club series.

Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition[]

Class C vehicles in Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition are the first items unlocked through progression-related points, though it is also possible to win the Hotmatch Cuevito before unlocking any Class C vehicles, if the player skipped one of the initial three San Diego racers.

Upgrades for Class C are typically unlocked at the following points: Level 1 upgrades unlock at the end of San Diego or in the early stages of Atlanta (depending if the player did not defeat one of Carlos or Bishop). Level 2 upgrades being unlocked at the tail-end of Atlanta, while Level 3 tires for Class C cars are unlocked after a few racers in Detroit.

While the player may encounter Class C vehicles of other types in the later part of San Diego, it isn't until Vanessa's second encounter where the player may encounter Class C vehicles more often, with Nissan Sport Concept or Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII opponents beginning to spawn in the said rematch.

Of all vehicles in the class, the Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec (R34) is considered to be the fastest and best-performing vehicle in the class, owing to it's late availability and it's expensive upgrade costs, with the Skyline being more of a Class B tuner due to it's performance.

Tuners[]

Despite being put into the Tuner Class, the Lotus Elise 111R can be considered more of a pseudo-Exotic due to lacking body customization options, while the Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec (R34) can be considered more of a Class B tuner, due to encountering slower Class A Exotics and Class B Sport Bikes as it's typical opposition.

The Nissan Sport Concept, being the prize for the Asakusa Tournament, a Class C restricted tournament, can even be unlocked before the purchasable Class C vehicles.

Muscle Cars[]

The 1966 Cadillac Coupe de Ville can be obtained before the player even starts Career Mode, as the player can start with Class D muscle cars except for the 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air, and use it to win the American Royalty Car Club Tournament.

Trivia[]

Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition[]

  • Due to the way the Tokyo Challenge works, it is possible to attain a Class C vehicle before even starting Career Mode, these vehicles are as follows:
  • If the player skipped one of the initial racers (Vanessa, Carlos or Bishop) and defeated Phil right away, the player will be able to win the Hotmatch Cuevito before unlocking Class C vehicles, therefore also extending the possibility to the Hotmatch Chingon, though it will be difficult to take part in the tournament with a stock Cuevito, due to bikes only having Class D nitro capacity, which makes the Cuevito have no Nitrous without upgrades.

Midnight Club: Los Angeles[]

  • The 1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS SS is the first C Class vehicle the player can obtain, as the player wins a customized one from Nikolai, which typically happens before the player unlocks Group 2 vehicles, as there is a mission where the player must win 6 races with a muscle car, and there are no muscle cars in Group 1.
  • The Chevrolet Camaro Concept DUB Edition may be the first Group 3 vehicle the player obtains, before the player even unlocks the group's vehicles for purchase, provided one can open and win the Hollywood "DUB" Tournament before unlocking Group 3 vehicles.
