Class D depicts low tier vehicles in the Midnight Club series.
Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition[]
When the player starts a new game, the player only has access to Class D vehicles and their level 1 performance parts, but their first car must be within their $22,000 budget, though the player may be able to start Career with 6 of the 11 Tokyo Challenge prizes or any of the Class D Luxury Sedans, provided it falls within the starter vehicles or any vehicle unlocked with their range.
Class D cars start without any Nitrous tanks, level 1 upgrades add one tank to their car, while level 2 nitrous make their car have two tanks. This nitro capacity also applies to all Sport Bikes and Choppers.
Level 2 upgrades for Class D cars are unlocked during or after beating Vanessa in her second encounter, while level 3 tires are unlocked early in Atlanta at some point after unlocking level 1 upgrades for Class C vehicles.
The Ginza Tournament, which opens after three City Races in Tokyo, is restricted to Class D vehicles only, though opponents can drive as high as the Class B tuners, though it may be possible that the said tournament is the first tournament the player enters.

Trivia[]
Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition[]
- Not counting the Tokyo Tournament prizes, all three of the initial San Diego tournament prize vehicles are the only unlockable Class D vehicles, being given out to get an introductory vehicle to give the player a head start towards doing their respective club races early.
- Despite the Cadillac CTS-V being put as a Class D Luxury Sedan, the CTS-V, is commonly encountered in Luxury Rollers Car Club Club Races, even if the races were done after the U.S. Championship Series with the Mercedes-Benz SL 55 AMG.
