Crossover is the seventeenth career race in Midnight Club II.
Description[]
The race takes place from Santa Monica Beach to the Watts river. In this race, the player faces Dice plus other 5 racers. After the player heads through the entertainment district, there will be a slalom of palm trees. The player must turn carefully or otherwise they might crash. Once reaching the highway, the player drives in the opposite direction. After that, the player will loop around the clover leaf freeway overpasses, and returning to the freeway, still on the opposite direction. The cloverleaf overpass can be used on the player's advantage because Dice and his crew don't corner well.
The player will have to drive off the freeway onto a construction site and go through a tunnel. Upon reaching the stadium area, use a shortcut on there between the buildings. Once the player leaves the stadium, the next checkpoint will lead into a series of alleys. The player also has to pass through some buildings as well. The player must be careful with the jumps using in-air controls.
The player drives through the freeway again, this time on the right direction, and use nitrous. The player will cut through the industrial section and then to the canal. After the player jumps through the dam, hit the last checkpoint and make a sharp turn to the right under the bridge's arch that leads to the finish line.
