This guide provides a walkthrough on how the player should progress through the third part of Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition, which takes place in Detroit, Michigan.
Entering Detroit[]
Unbeatable Street Racers Finale[]
Bad Boyz Tournament loading screen
When you enter Detroit via a City Movers, you will be spawned near Vince's Garage (in the REMIX version of the game). After this, the Bad Boyz Tournament will begin accepting entries, rewarding the winner with a 1949 Chevrolet Fleetline. You can sell the prize later after unlocking Class A vehicles if you need $250,000 for the McLaren F1 LM.
Before taking part in any of the Detroit races, complete the Unbeatable Street Racers, you will earn the following car, which can help you throughout Detroit until you unlock Class A vehicles:
If the player chooses to save the Unbeatable Street Racers for later, or prefers to drive a Class B car until the Exotics are unlocked, it is recommended to buy one of the following, with the Dodge Viper GTS-R being the best choice due to it's very high acceleration and top speed that can rival most exotics.
Afterwards, upgrade the car you are planning to use for Detroit, It costs $67,770 to upgrade the Skyline to maximum level. The higher upgrade costs attribute to the Skyline going from Class C performance to a low-end Class A performance tuner.
Roy (third encounter)[]

Haven't we beat him before? Yes, two times, and yet again, he's back in Detroit, this time, now driving a Dodge Viper GTS-R. Use your Skyline with Level 2 upgrades to beat him, unless you want to grind for the Chrysler ME Four-Twelve.
Spider[]

This guy's a member of the Chopper of America Bike Club, riding a Hotmatch D'Elegance. Beat this guy to progress further in Detroit.
Use your Skyline for this challenge, or unless you defeated Ceasar and won the City Tournament, go with the Cadillac Cien (or Chrysler ME Four-Twelve if you grinded the entire By Invitation Only.
Leo[]

A member of the American Royalty Car Club who drives a 1981 Chevrolet Camaro Z28.
Use your Skyline to take this Detroit Muscle out.
Second Round of Detroit Racers[]
Ceasar[]

After defeating Leo, some ultra-rich exotic mogul named Ceasar challenges you to a race.
He drives a Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren, a mid-end Class A exotic. Beat him and the By Invitation Only, a car club specializing on Exotics will invite you. Use your Skyline to prove it that the C-Class king can put supercars to shame.
Kioshi[]

An ultra-fast sports bike rider from the Original Riders bike club, who rides the best overall sport bike, the Aprilia RSV Mille 1000R Factory. Be careful as she rides like it's 1pm on a Sunday afternoon on a Suburban Street.
For this racer, continue with the Skyline GT-R (or ME-Four Twelve if you grinded the By Invitation Only before unlocking Class A). You may unlock Class A vehicles after this.
Angel[]

Angel, a member of By Invitation Only, who will challenge you in his Saleen S7.
Beat him with your Skyline if you can handle the performance gap of the S7 and the R34, or prove that the S7's naturally-aspirated V8 is no match for the ME Four-Twelve's quad-turbocharged V12.

Have we forgotten to participate in two more tournaments, well, here they are.
San Diego DUB Tournament[]

After having successfully dealt with Leo, we are informed that DUB is sponsoring a tournament in San Diego, where the winner will be awarded a DUBbed out Mercedes-Benz SL 55 AMG.
Enter the tournament using your Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec (R34). You will normally face Class B Sport Bikes, and the lower-end of the Exotics, such as the Lamborghini Diablo, the two Gemballas, or the Cadillac Cien.
This car is the fastest Luxury car in the game. However, be careful, as the damage on it can rack up a little faster. Use this prize later to complete the Luxury Rollers Car Club races.
City Tournament (Detroit)[]

An Autocross Tournament that rewards a Cadillac Cien. Be careful, the times could get challenging for most Class B vehicles if you beat too many Detroit racer, so use a maxed Class C Tuner if you have the skill and low amount of defeated Detroit racers, or come back when you get one of the Exotic cars.
You can then use the Cien to do the By Invitation Only club races, or it's associated Tokyo tournament, if you need an exotic that can grind the club races before unlocking Class A vehicles.

The ultra-rich exotic mogul who you previously defeated is back! He wants another shot at beating you. This time, he drives a Lamborghini Gallardo Coupe.
Either use a maxed R34 or ME Four-Twelve, or if you got the money, buy the McLaren F1 LM for $250,000, if you don't plan to grind the By Invitation Only club races.
