"Look at that, an instant new classic. The new Dodge Charger, the SRT-8. It's got totally new styling but retains it's retro look. And also brings back the biggest lore of it's classic cousins, the HEMI engine. This is the new world muscle car" - Unlock quote
The Dodge Charger SRT8 (Street and Racing Technology) is a high-performance model of the Dodge Charger LX saloon.
It is powered by a 370cu Supercharged V8, which is based on the 345cu V8. Besides the increase of displacement, the compression ratio was raised to 10.3:1. The diameter of the cylinder heads were also slightly increased.
The Charger SRT-8 is equipped with a series of special parts such as SRT-tuned dampers and anti-sway bars.
It appears in Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition Remix and Midnight Club: Los Angeles.
Description[]
The Dodge Charger SRT-8 is a B-class Muscle Car (B-Class Tuner in Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition REMIX). It is a regular car that can be purchased to race in both games, however, in Midnight Club Los Angeles, there are LAPD and U.S. Border Patrol versions of the car that can also be found chasing racers and later can be purchased within the story.
Performance[]
Despite being a Class B tuner, the Charger, along with the Lotus Elise 111R (which is in Class C) are outperformed performance-wise by the Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec (R34), though the Charger's claimed stats suggest the Charger has a higher top speed, even when fully upgraded, though a stock Charger may be at par with a stock Lotus Elise 111R, with the Charger only having one additional nitro shot at each level due to being a Class B vehicle.

Acquisition[]
The Dodge Charger SRT-8 can be obtained by winning the Wharf Tournament, a tournament restricted to B-Class vehicles in Tokyo in Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition Remix. As the tournament is restricted to Class B vehicles, the player cannot legitimately enter the tournament until early in Atlanta, when the player either unlocks Class B vehicles, or can be entered early right after defeating Vito, wins the Ducati SS1000 from the Hotlanta Tournament, then uses the said bike to win the tournament for the Charger.
The player will be awarded a DUB-customized 06 Charger SRT-8 by winning the tournament.
However, if one had a full garage upon completing the tournament, the player will be awarded $55,995 as compensation for the car, since the additional $20,000 covers the DUB parts.
In Midnight Club: Los Angeles, it can be purchased for $38,000 after achieving the "Racer" rank.

Trivia[]
- Unusually, despite being classified as a Tuner in Midnight Club 3, the Charger SRT-8 uses the Luxury Sedans parts set. This is even stranger, since in real life the Charger is classified as a muscle car, and also, it's usage of the Luxury Sedans part set is due to also being part of the Chrysler LX platform, shared with the Chrysler 300C and Dodge Magnum R/T, which are also won in a DUB Edition variant.
- This may be a pseudo-Lexus SC430 or Mercedes-Benz SL 500/Mercedes-Benz SL 55, as it shares the Luxury cars' bodykits and gets the Zone ability due to being put in the Tuner Class, but unlike the aforementioned cars, which are soft-top convertibles, the Charger is a 4-door sedan.
- The Charger SRT-8, when maxed, gets Class B "Tuners", as well as Class C Choppers as it's typical opponents, while the Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec (R34) gets the low-end Class A Exotics, along with the Class B Sport Bikes as it's common opponents.
- The Charger has cheaper upgrade costs, costing $19,694 to max out, even cheaper than other Class B vehicles, while the Skyline has the most expensive upgrade costs, costing $67,770 to max out the GT-R.
- The 2006 Dodge Charger SRT-8 may be the first Class B car the player can obtain, though not the first Class B vehicle that can be obtained, since the Charger's tournament can be played as early as when the player obtains the Ducati SS1000 from the Hotlanta Tournament before the Class B vehicles have been unlocked.
