It can be won by completing the Ginza Tournament in Tokyo, a Class D restricted Tokyo Tournament.
The Magnum awarded to the player is a "DUB" version. If the player's garage is full when they win the Magnum R/T, the player will be awarded $52,000 instead, which equates to buying the Magnum and customizing it with the DUB Edition's parts.

- The Magnum can also serve as a starter car for the Career Mode, provided the player starts in the Tokyo Challenge, wins the required three races to unlock the Ginza Tournament, and wins the aforementioned tournament before starting Career Mode.
- Also, if the player wants to use the Magnum as their starter car, they could sell the starter car they bought to upgrade the Magnum R/T with level 1 performance parts.
