Icon for Exotic cars from Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition
A supercar – also called an Exotic car – is a loosely defined description of street-legal, high-performance sports cars. Since the 2000s or 2010s, the term hypercar has come into use for the highest performing supercars. Supercars commonly serve as the flagship model within a vehicle manufacturer's line-up of sports cars and typically feature various performance-related technology derived from motorsports.
Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition[]
Exotics in Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition can be unlocked as early as in Detroit. The Cadillac Cien or the Pagani Zonda C-12 S may be the first exotic unlocked, if the player did the Autocross Tournament in Detroit prior to unlocking Class A vehicles, or have done the Imperial Palace Tournament in Tokyo with the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-12R after completing the Original Riders Club Races.
The game features 12 licensed exotic cars, all in Class A, and are the only car type in Class A (excluding the Sport Bikes.). However, the exotics are divided into two ends, with high-end exotics being encountered in later races, starting from the fifth racer in Detroit. Lower/middle-end exotics can be frequently encountered in the earlier stages of Detroit, along with the Class B Sport Bikes, typically, by the Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec (R34), while two other exotics, both used by Ceasar, are encountered by driving a low-end exotic, or a maxed Class B Tuner.
However, despite the Lamborghini Murciélago Coupe andMercedes-Benz CLK GTR having only their Top Speed stat being a 90+, they can be considered as pseudo high-end exotics due to the fact that they cannot encounter any other vehicle other than themselves, the McLaren F1 LM, Saleen S7 (naturally aspirated), Chrysler ME Four-Twelve or Pagani Zonda C-12 S.
Exotics cannot be upgraded with performance parts except for increased nitrous, with both nitrous upgrades costing the same as the Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec (R34)'s Nitrous upgrade, being priced at $6,300 for level 1 and $11,340 for level 2 Nitrous. They also lack body modification options, with the exception of full wheel customization, despite certain opponents having carbon fiber hoods.
By Invitation Only is the car club for Exotics. Defeating Ceasar will grant access to the By Invitation Only series, in which, completing the series adds the Chrysler ME Four-Twelve to the player's garage.
Although Exotics are all in Class A, four exotics, namely the Cadillac Cien, Gemballa F355, Chrysler ME Four-Twelve and Pagani Zonda C-12 S can be obtained before unlocking Class A vehicles.
Low/Mid-end Exotics[]
Low/Mid-end Exotics are described as not being encountered by the high/top end exotics. The exotics that are not drive by Ceasar are frequently faced by a maxed out Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec (R34), as well as most Class B vehicles.
These exotics may either face themselves or the higher end exotics, though Class B Sport Bikes may take the place of some of them in random encounters, typically by the Skyline, or certain Class B vehicles.
However, the exotics used by Ceasar can be common opponents on certain Class B vehicles fully upgraded.
Strangely, a fully upgraded Class A Sport Bike will also get Lamborghini Diablo VT or Gemballa F355 as opponents, in addition to the typical high-end ones. All A-Class vehicles except for the higher end exotics can encounter the said REMIX-only exotics.
High/Top-end Exotics[]
High/Top-end Exotics are an exclusive exotic club that when driven by the player, opponents will never drive anything other than them in City Races or late game races, including Tournaments along with the Class A Sport Bikes, and in the main career mode, are encountered in the late stages of the game, though the player will struggle if they continuously go up against them before unlocking Class A vehicles or winning a prize exotic.
Despite the Lamborghini Murciélago VT and Mercedes-Benz CLK GTR only having their top speed at 90+, the Murcielago and CLK GTR are common AI for the other exotics listed below and cannot encounter any vehicles other than the exotics listed below, or the Class A Sport Bikes in optional City Races.
Pseudo-exotics[]
Despite having no Body Upgrades, like the actual Exotics, these were put in the Tuner class for balancing reasons, all except for the Lotus Elise 111R being in Class B.
Midnight Club: Los Angeles[]
Exotics in Midnight Club: Los Angeles can be unlocked after unlocking Group 4 vehicles. However, the player may be able to enter the Downtown DUB Tournament before unlocking Group 4 vehicles to win the Lamborghini Murciélago Roadster DUB Edition early.
A total of 10 exotics are featured in the game, all in Group 4.
After attaining 35 wins with an exotic car and defeating Booke, the player can challenge Pete for the title of Exotic Champ, which will award the How Exotic achievement/trophy.
In Midnight Club: L.A. Remix, Exotics cannot be upgraded, just like in it's predecessor, also, the A-Class Exotics (except the Lamborghini Murciélago Roadster DUB Edition and the Audi R8 can only be used in the Los Angeles career, while the B-Class Exotics and the Lamborghini Murciélago Roadster DUB Edition (except the Audi R8) can only be used in Tokyo.
The following Exotics appear in the game.

- One low-end group is driven by opponents if the player drives a maxed out Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec (R34).
- One high-end grouping is driven by opponents if one is driving any of those, and cannot encounter any vehicle other than themselves or the Class A Sport Bikes.
- Strangely, the Lamborghini Diablo VT or Gemballa F355 can be encountered by a maxed Class A Sport Bike, along with the higher end exotics, despite being typical opposition for the Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec (R34) or Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII, along with Class B Sport Bikes.
- Despite the website listing the Lotus Elise 111R, as well as the Class B sport cars as Exotics/Concept, they can be considered as pseudo-exotics as they do not have any body parts.
- For balancing reasons, they were put into the Tuner class.
Midnight Club: Los Angeles[]
- All opponents that drive A-Class Exotics, as well as the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 (C6), an A-Class Group 4, Muscle, as well as the Ducati 999R and Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14 sport bikes can be encountered when driving a barely upgraded Lamborghini Murciélago Roadster, Saleen S7 Twin Turbo or Ford Shelby Cobra Concept on medium difficulty.
