Infiniti (also styled as INFINITI) is a Japanese automobile manufacturer that is the luxury vehicle of Nissan and appears in Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition (REMIX). The company officially started selling cars on November 8, 1989 in North America. Infiniti's marketing network included dealers in over 50 countries by the 2010s; by the 2020s, there were 25 markets by new Infiniti dealers. Their main markets include North America, China and the Middle East.

According to Infiniti, their badge has a double meaning; it's stylized as both a road extending into the horizon and Mount Fuji. The second meaning is supposed to reflect Infiniti's Japanese origins, even though they were created to serve the North American market.[1]

Logo History[]

The Infiniti logo has only had 3 minor redesigns throughout its history, making it a very conservative design. The sleek minimalistic design consists of a stylized triangle, inscribed into a horizontal oval frame, with the bottom side cut out. The badge was designed by the Lippincott Mercer design bureau and is supposed to represent a road going into the horizon. Another possible meaning is a tribute to the Fujiyama mountain as the triangle resembles a mountain peak. The triangle shape also is a symbol of growth and success.[2]
