The Lotus Elise 111R is a sports car that appears in Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition.
Description[]
The Elise is based off its real life counterpart. The earlier models in the year 2000-2003 were powered by a Rover K-series 1.8L 4cyl engine. Due to reliability issues of the K-series engine, Lotus started using Toyota's 1.8L 4 cyl engine, the same engine used in Toyota's Corolla, AE86 and MR-2.
Performance[]
Even while stock, the Elise has great performance, including a nitrous tank. In Class C it has the highest acceleration stat of all Tuners, the highest handling stat of all Tuners, but only has a top speed of 200mph. However, despite the listed stats, the Elise is outperformed by the Toyota Supra Turbo and Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec (R34) overall due to it's limited top speed.
It is an excellent choice for your first class C Tuner as it also very cheap. Its size also allows it to squeeze through tight spaces during a race, making it great at avoiding traffic and walls, and it has excellent maneuvering at high speeds.
Despite having higher stats as listed in the garage, the Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec (R34) outperforms the Elise in all attributes, especially when both are fully upgraded, as the Skyline's true stats also match the stats of it's police counterpart, due to it's costlier upgrades and later availability. The Elise also outperforms the Dodge Charger SRT-8 in acceleration and handling.
