Mercedes-Benz, (officially known as Mercedes-Benz AG; commonly referred to as Mercedes, and sometimes Benz) is a German automotive manufacturer that appears in Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition and Midnight Club: Los Angeles. The brand was established in 1928 and is headquartered in Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. The company produces consumer luxury vehicles and light commercial vehicles. From November 2019 onwards, any heavy commercial vehicles (trucks and buses) that were Mercedes-Benz-badged became managed by Daimler Truck, a former part of the Mercedes-Benz Group which became an independent company in 2021.
In 2018, Mercedes-Benz became the largest brand of premium vehicles worldwide, having sold 2.31 million passenger cars. The brand's origins lie in the Daimler-Motoren-Gesellschaft's 1901 Mercedes and Carl Benz's 1886 Benz Patent-Motorwagen. The Patent-Motorwagen is widely regarded as the first internal combustion engine in a self-propelled automobile. The slogan for Mercedes-Benz is "the best or nothing"[1]

Logo History[]
The Mercedes symbol has gone through 9 different designs throughout its history, although the design from the 3rd logo onwards has remained relatively the same. The emblem is a 3 pointed star enclosed in a circle and was originally seen by Gottlieb Daimler as a symbol of protecting his own home. Later on, this emblem had an additional meaning; "three" was considered to be a sacred number, the number of perfection. Daimler also pointed out that his products were conquering the three elements - air, land and water. This is because he produce engines for maritime and river transport, land transport and the aviation industry. It was also interpreted as a stylized steering wheel. [2]
