Mercedes-Benz CL 55 is a vehicle available in Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition.
Description[]
The Mercedes-Benz CL 55 AMG is a more powerful version of the CL 500. It is the second generation of the CL coupe. The C215 generation featured a wide variety of trim levels and limited editions for the AMG series CL, including 3 different engine options: the 5.4L M113 (V8), 6.3L M137 (V12), and the 6.0L M275 (V12).
Of all the AMG models offered, the turbocharged V12-powered CL 65 AMG (M275) is the most powerful. From 2003 onward however, all 2nd generation CL 55 AMGs (M113) would be Supercharged, greatly increasing their power output from 355 hp to 493 hp. Additionally, the CL 55 is much lighter than the CL 65, making it the more agile option.
Performance[]
If the player can overcome the typical sluggish handling of a Luxury vehicle, the CL 55 is the most powerful car in Class C that isn't a Tuner. It has an even higher top speed stat than the Nissan Skyline GT-R, and its acceleration is very quick for its size.
As good as its performance may be, especially for Class C, it does not quite keep up with Class A competition late in the game where it can be used. The final gear is considerably weaker and it will struggle to go over 200mph.

Acquisition[]
The CL 55 can be won by completing The Luxury Rollers Car Club. If the player has a full garage upon completion of the said club, the player will be given $141,000 as a compensatory reward for being unable to store the CL 55.
By the time it is acquired, most players will immediately sell this car.
Trivia[]
- Because the Luxury Rollers Car Club must be completed to unlock this car, it has very little use. During normal gameplay it is very likely you will win the San Diego DUB Tournament and acquire the SL 55 AMG prior to completing the Luxury Rollers races, and the SL 55 AMG is better in every conceivable way.
- As a result, with cash payouts for Club Races tied to the player's story progression, and the CL 55's very little use, it is highly recommended to avoid any Luxury Rollers races until after having completed the U.S. Championship Series.
- The CL 55's high sell price and lategame unlock requirements make it a common tribute to pay for the CLK GTR.
- Much like the other Mercedes-Benz AMG models in the game, the CL 55 cannot have performance upgrades aside from nitrous.
