The Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren is a vehicle available in Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition.
Description[]
The SLR McLaren is a joint venture between Mercedes-Benz and McLaren, built in McLaren's Technology Centre in Woking, Surry, England.
Performance[]
The SLR AMG is powered by a 5.5L AMG supercharged V8 and is among the fastest accelerating cars in the game. Its top speed is even better than indicated, and its handling is also much sharper than indicated. It is responsive and on-point, if a little twitchy at times. The responsive handling can cause the car to flip over if the car is turned too hard in a corner, (especially when over uneven terrain) or when the special ability of the car, Zone, is active.
Despite it's performance, it isn't encountered by any of the higher-end exotics with increased Nitrous, being only spawned on West Coast Choppers El Diablo Rigid, Hotmatch D'Elegance or Ducati Monster S4R in City Races. However, the SLR, will encounter Gemballa F355 opponents on rare occasions, just like the Class A Sport Bikes.
On open freeways, and engaging the NOS in 4th or 5th gear, the SLR can hit speeds over 270 mph, although the speedometer only reads up to 250 mph.

Acquisition[]
The Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren can be purchased for $452,750 after defeating enough Detroit street racers to unlock Class A vehicles.
Trivia[]
- As with some other exotics and the Class A Sport Bikes, assuming the player equipped the 4-nitro upgrade, the SLR McLaren typically encounters the higher end exotics, namely the Chrysler ME Four-Twelve, Lamborghini Murciélago VT, McLaren F1 LM, Saleen S7, Mercedes-Benz CLK GTR or the Pagani Zonda C-12 S, as well as the Class A Sport Bikes, but can also encounter the Gemballa F355 and Lamborghini Diablo VT.
- If the player has a low skill rating, the SLR McLaren can be encountered in any Class A vehicle, even on the higher end exotics (assuming no nitrous upgrades were installed), or maxed Class A Sport Bikes (which also get Lamborghini Diablo VT or Gemballa F355 opponents).
