The 2007 Mercedes-Benz SL 65 AMG (R230) is a high-end performance variant of the R230 Mercedes-Benz SL model range. The car was only available as a convertible.
Production began in 2004 and it underwent a facelift in 2008 along with an introduction of the Black Series variant.
The redesign adopted the company's new design philosophy seen on the standard SL models although the SL 65 AMG saw the addition of an aero body kit, an altered bonnet, and new standard alloy wheels.
It appears in Midnight Club: Los Angeles as a Group 4 Luxury vehicle.
Description[]
The SL 65 AMG is the fastest Luxury vehicle in the game, and is highly recommended for the Luxury Champ mission. However, the player should only buy it after winning the Beach DUB Tournament, if they can sell the Mercedes-Benz S600 DUB Edition.
Performance[]
The SL 65 is powered by a 6.0L Twin-Turbocharged V12 producing 604 HP, and weighs 2,120 kg (4,674 lbs), making it a heavy luxury convertible. In real life, the car would have a top speed of 338 km/h or 210 mph.
On medium difficulty, a maxed SL65 would receive similar opposition to a level 1 Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder, while on higher difficulties, the SL65 would receive the Gallardo's maxed opposition instead.
