Midnight Club Wiki

This guide provides a walkthrough on how the player should progress through the Club Races of Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition.

All races in the Club Races are completely random. Each Club race provides unlocks for the vehicle Type. It is highly recommended to avoid doing club races for non-Zone classes until after becoming the U.S. Champion, which will give higher payouts compared to when doing these races mid-game, ranging from as low as $13,000 to being more than $20,000, therefore the Tuners and Exotics are the best classes to prioritize as the Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec (R34) and Chrysler ME Four-Twelve are two of the best prize vehicles in the game.

Unbeatable Street Racers[]

After defeating Vanessa, the player is invited to race the Unbeatable Street Racers, a club for Tuner cars. The City Tournament (San Diego) is also organized to have the player win a Lexus IS300, one of the fastest Class D cars that can hold it through Atlanta and can be useful for the Ginza Tournament in order get started in the club races.

It is highly recommended to do these club races right away, as the final reward for winning them is the Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec (R34), a C-Class Tuner with the performance of a B-Class car that can help the player throughout the early part of Detroit, until they are able to get the Exotic cars. Use a Class C tuner to get the job done, provided the Atlanta races should be done only after unlocking level 2 performance upgrades for Class C cars, which will help reduce the difficulty of the race, especially with the additional 3rd nitro shot.

American Royalty Car Club[]

A club that specializes in Muscle Cars, the player gets an invite to the club after defeating Carlos. The club also hosted the Stage Tournament to be able get the player started on the club races, rewarding the Chevrolet Bel Air, a Class D muscle car that carries a value of $37,000, therefore, it may be recommended to be sold and the club races left until after the U.S. Championship Series instead as the Bel Air, despite being in Class D, has the value of the Class C Muscle cars.

Any Class B muscle car is highly recommended for the Club Races. However, the player will probably struggle at first until after completing Race #3, which will unlock the Roar ability.

After all 15 club races, the player will be awarded the 1968 Chevrolet Corvette (C3) Stingray, or it's purchase price of $56,000 instead if their garage is full.

Luxury Rollers Car Club[]

The Luxury Rollers Car Club can challenge the player only after defeating Bishop. Afterwards, the player is invited to the Balboa Park Tournament, a tournament that awards a Chrysler 300C "DUB Edition" to give the player a head-start to the club races.

It is recommended for the player to avoid the club races until after having won the San Diego DUB Tournament for the Mercedes-Benz SL 55 AMG, as well as the U.S. Championship Series for increased payouts from each race.

After the third race, the player is awarded the Agro ability for the Luxury Sedans (or Zone for the Lexus SC430 and both Mercedes-Benz SL cars.)

After winning every race in the club, the Mercedes-Benz CL 55 AMG will be added to the player's garage, unless their garage is full, where the player wins it's $141,000 purchase cost instead.

Chopper of America Bike Club[]

One of the two bike clubs. Following Phil's defeat, he gives up his prized Chopper, the Hotmatch Cuevito to get the player started on the club races.

It is highly recommended to leave these races until after the U.S. Championship Series to increase payouts on these races, and the player riding on any of the Class B Choppers, with the Hotmatch D'Elegance being the best option for these club races. Completing all races in the club will reward the player the Hotmatch Skully, or it's purchase cost of $65,000 if their garage is full.

If the player also won the Original Riders club races, the player will also unlock the Kawasaki Police 1000.

Big Playas[]

Despite the Hummer H1 being the first SUV/Truck the player unlocks. It comes at a massively expensive price of $117,508, nearly a higher price than most Class B cars.

Upon completing San Diego. a DUB Tournament is held in Atlanta that awards a DUBbed out Cadillac Escalade EXT to get the player started in the club races. This tournament opens right away upon opening Atlanta due to the fact that the Big Playas is the only club that can be unlocked from two different racers, in which the club will invite the player as soon as one of Dre or Lamont has been defeated.

The club races should be saved until after the U.S. Championship Series, especially if in the REMIX version of the game, opponents spawn in the Gemballa GT 750 but the player has not yet unlocked Class B vehicles or level 2 upgrades for Class C vehicles, it will be very tricky to complete, especially with the given Cadillac, as well as significantly reduced payouts if done before the U.S. Championship Series.

Therefore, the player should avoid the races until after becoming U.S. Champion, which will significantly increase the payouts for the races to a minimum of $13,000 and sometimes increasing to more than $20,000, with the Gemballa GT 750 (REMIX) being the best choice, although it comes at an extremely high price of $360,000, which is higher than the best-performing exotics in the game, or the Dodge RAM SRT-10 or Chevrolet Silverado SST Concept being alternate choices if they aren't playing the REMIX version of the game.

A Mercedes-Benz G55 AMG is the reward for the SUV Races, which carries a value of $114,000. However, with the REMIX version of the game, the G55 is outclassed by the Gemballa GT 750.

Original Riders[]

After defeating Vito, who was sent by the Original Riders to test the player before being able to enter the club, the club finally allows the player to race against them.

But however, the club can still challenge the player before Class B vehicles are unlocked, so the Hotlanta Tournament was set up to test the player through Autocross Races to win the Ducati SS1000 to get the player started through the club.

It is strongly recommended to avoid these vehicles until after the U.S. Championship Series due to the fact that they only have Class D nitrous, as well as taking several seconds to respawn on the bike after a crash.

The Aprilia RSV Mille 1000R Factory is a recommended bike for the club races, due to it's perfect 100 handling, alternatively the slightly inferior Ducati 999R can be used but costs more than the Factory, therefore recommending the Aprilia to be used for the club races. The club awards the player the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-12R, which boasts a high 93.6 acceleration and a 100 speed rating with max upgrades, though having less handling than the other two sport bikes, at 87.4 handling rating.

By Invitation Only[]

The last club introduced in the game, specializing in Exotic cars. Following the first defeat of the ultra-rich mogul Ceasar, the player is invited to the By Invitation Only car club. An autocross tournament has also been set up to test the player's hot lap skills, in which the Cadillac Cien is the reward for the winner as a way to start the club races.

It is recommended to either use the McLaren F1 LM (which can be bought for $250,000) or the Pagani Zonda C-12 S (which can be won from the Tokyo Challenge). A Chrysler ME Four-Twelve, the only 7-speed car in the game, is awarded to the winner of the club.

This is one of the two clubs that are recommended to do before becoming the U.S. Champion, since the reward cars can be useful during the main storyline of the game, with the Skyline being recommended for early Detroit, and the ME Four-Twelve for the later part of the game.
