Oswaldo is a character in Midnight Club: Los Angeles. He is also available as a player model in the online component of the game and the Motorcycle Champ.

Background

Oswaldo is part of Hugo's crew. They dominate the downtown scene.

Storyline

Oswaldo is the contact for the Hollywood Time Trial.

After becoming the City Champ, the player is able to face Oswaldo to take over his title of Motorcycle Champ. The player must also win a certain amount of races in a Motorcycle after unlocking Group 4 vehicles in addition to beating Booke to receive the call to challenge Oswaldo.

Oswaldo can be occasionally seen driving a Datsun 280Z in some D-Class races.

Mazda RX-8 "Shinka"

Oswaldo drives a Mazda RX-8 during C-class races. He occasionally spawns in an RX-8 in races where Laticia or Chung Hee also races in.

Nissan 350Z Roadster

Oswaldo can be seen driving a Nissan 350Z Roadster as the contact for the Hollywood Time Trial, and as an occasional random opponent in races where Laticia races in her Nissan 350Z Roadster.

It's license plate reads "DRFTKNG".

Ford Shelby Cobra Concept

Oswaldo drives a blue Ford Shelby Cobra Concept with racing decals and a license plate reading SURREAL. He only spawns on a Cobra Concept if Lorraine and Carl are in the same race. He is the only opponent who drives an exotic and later rides an A-Class, Group 4 motorcycle.

Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14

Oswaldo rides a blue Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14 as the Motorcycle Champ and often spawns when a player drives a high-level A Class vehicle. He will only spawn on his Ninja if Lester also appears in his Ninja ZX-14.

• Oswaldo is the only racer who drives an Exotic to use a Group 4, A-Class motorcycle, with Oswaldo using both a Ford Shelby Cobra Concept and Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14.
  • He only uses his Ninja ZX-14 if Lester also appears in his Ninja ZX-14.
  • He drives his Cobra Concept, if Lorraine and Carl also appear in the race, provided the vehicle the player drives can spawn Ford Shelby Cobra Concepts.
  • Also, even if the player challenges Lester from his Mercedes-Benz SL 65 AMG, there is a chance that Oswaldo spawns in his Ninja ZX-14, assuming one uses a vehicle that spawns Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14 opponents.
