Midnight Club Wiki

Player is the playable character of Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition and Midnight Club 3: Dub Edition REMIX.

Background[]

The player hails from San Diego, California, and was heavily into cars. Baby recommends him to meet Oscar, the owner of Six-One-Nine Customs, a garage in San Diego. Oscar offers to tune to players' vehicles as they compete in racing around San Diego, and gives him a choice of cars to start their racing career.

After selecting their first car, the Player races with Bishop, Carlos and Vanessa: the three top racers of the city. Then they proceed to individually beat the racers. Later, after two of the aforementioned racers are defeated, Oscar's friend Phil decides to challenge the player, and loses, giving the player the keys to his custom chopper, the Hotmatch Cuevito.

Oscar introduces the player to several car clubs active across the United States, and the player proceeds to compete in them, acquiring new vehicles and skills. After defeating Vanessa for the second time, Oscar later informs the player of a tournament organised by DUB Magazine taking place in Atlanta. He hooks the player up with Apone, the owner of Apone Team Racing. After winning the tournament, the player spends time racing in Atlanta.

Following Cheng or Naomi's loss, along with Roy's second defeat, Apone tells the player to head over to Detroit to take part in the meet of the American Royalty club. There, he meets Vince, one of Oscar's friends. Vince tells him about the series of races between the best drivers of all clubs, with a Lamborghini Murciélago VT awaiting the winner. The player takes part in the US Championship, defeating several races he had previously raced against, and won the Lamborghini. After defeating all racers, tournaments and clubs, Vince gives the player the keys to the Cadillac Sixteen.

At any point during their career in the United States, the player can head to Tokyo to take part in the Tokyo Challenge. The player can do this through Tomoya, the owner of Speedway garage, and their contact in Tokyo. The player races against all American car clubs in Tokyo, and wins several exclusive cars, before winning the Imperial Palace Tournament and winning a Pagani Zonda C-12 S.

The player ultimately becomes the street racing champion in both Japan and the United States.
