Raymond is a character in Midnight Club: Los Angeles, added by the South Central Premium Upgrade.

Background

Raymond is the South Central Champ.

Storyline

Early in the game, Doc introduces the Protagonist (MCLA) to Raymond as part of a three way call, much to Raymond's dismay.

After the player races Doc's SUV, Doc calls the player congratulating him. He then says that to get Raymond's attention, the player must win some wager and pink slip races at the Abandoned Factory.

Eventually Raymond calls and challenges the player to win 6 races in South Central.

After the player builds up enough of a reputation, Raymond calls the player, challenging him to a best of 3 race. After the player races him, Raymond calls and congratulates the player on becoming the best racer in South Central, and to enjoy his victory.

He can also be encountered as a random racer in Arcade Mode, appearing in his Mercedes-Benz CLK 63 AMG Black Series (C209), and can occasionally appear in his Ford GT if Henry, Hugo and Dave are present in their Ford GTs in the same race, which can typically happen in an Exotic with only level 1 upgrades, or a maxed Audi R8 4.2 FSi Quattro, Mercedes-Benz SL 65 AMG or Saleen S302 Extreme.
