Rites of Passage is the first San Diego race and the first race in career mode from Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition.

Overview

This race is served as a tutorial race for players new to Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition. Despite being a tutorial race, this race can spawn on Club Races as well.

Description

In this race, the player drives through an ordered series of checkpoints, where the user must navigate their vehicle through a series of yellow luminescent beams in a specific order. This is the type of race which is assigned most frequently. As this course is designed for introductory purposes rather than a legitimate challenge, it is straightforward and leads the player through the main road of San Diego.

Trivia

• It is technically possible to do this race in conditions other than Midnight/Clear, if one made progress in the Tokyo Challenge before starting Career Mode.
• If the player does Tokyo Challenge before starting Career Mode, the time of day can change, but the weather will be locked to Clear, therefore it is possible to do it in Dawn or Dusk time of Day.
