Shing is one of the two initial challengers the player faces in Tokyo. He drives a RSMC 15

The first race is called Red Herring. This race is a Time Trial.

The second race is Ichiro's Challenge. This race has the player facing off against Shing's friend, Ichiro.

The third race is called The Real Deal, which is the only race where the player races Shing.

Trivia

• Like Angel, Shing tends to brag about his money, and is shown to be a spoiled rich kid.
  • Ceasar from Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition can also tend to be like this, due to owning three Exotic cars.
• Shing is hinted to be a sore loser, as he gets annoyed if the player beats his races. Before Ichiro's Challange, he whines at the player, telling them to "go home", and after the player beats his final race, The Real Deal and unlocks his car, Shing tells the player not to tell anyone about his loss.
• Like Ken'Ichi, it is hinted that he probably owns more vehicles, saying that "I have ten more".
