The Stage Tournament is a tournament that appears in Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition and is located in San Diego. The tournament opens once the player defeats Carlos and gets an invitation to the American Royalty Car Club.

The winner of the tournament is awarded the 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air, a D-Class Muscle Car, along with $5,000.

Summary

When the player defeats Carlos, a cutscene triggers where the player is sent to Six-One-Nine Customs, introducing them to the American Royalty Car Club. After the cutscene, the player will be informed that the Stage tournament opens, with a 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air being awarded to the winner, which was intentionally given out to start players in the said club, though the player can save the club races for after the U.S. Championship Series to maximize payouts and reduce overall difficulty.

The player races through a total of four races, initially with three layouts being named Stage, followed by their number, culminating with a Final Stage race that combines the layouts of the previous three races.

Race all 3 stages individually then race all 3 together. After this grueling event, a classic Chevy will be yours.

Unlock Conditions

The tournament opens once the player defeats Carlos and gets an invitation to the American Royalty Car Club.

The player must win either this tournament, the Balboa Park Tournament or the City Tournament (San Diego) and have defeated Phil and Vanessa's initial encounter to qualify for her second encounter.

Rewards

Upon completing the tournament, the player earns $5,000 and the 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air being added to their garage, as well as being unlocked for purchase.

If the player has a full garage upon winning the tournament, or having already obtained the Bel Air early through illegitimate means, the player will be paid $37,000 instead to cover the Bel Air's purchase price.
