The Torque JX is a vehicle in Midnight Club II. It is the penultimate car that can be unlocked in career mode.

Resemblance

The car model resembles a 1999 Nissan Skyline GT-R (R34). The car also sports a body kit that looks similar to the VeilSide Street Drag kit. The spoiler is somewhat similar to the one found in the Tommykaira R, albeit less wider. The rims resemble the Yokohama Super Advan Racing ver.2. However the resemblances ends as the taillight only has one pair, instead of the two pairs as seen in the real life vehicle, possibly to avoid lawsuit.

Performance

This car has four nitrous blasts and a very high top speed (only bested by the SLF450X). It has good high-end acceleration. It is an extremely heavy car that can withstand the most damage in the game, though it takes more damage from wall collisions than the SLF450X due to its heavy mass, but the mass makes the car a poor performer in corners. However, this is remedied by using the handbrake to perform difficult, but agile moves. It is difficult to master, but if mastered, it is one of the few cars that can compete with the Veloci fairly.

Acquisition

The player can unlock this car by beating Makoto's second race, Enduro.

Trivia

• The sound when the Torque JX is selected is the same as the car selection sound of the Jones J-Series in Midnight Club: Street Racing, except longer.
• This car shares a similar handling to Chevrolet Corvette due to its massive mass.
• It is the heaviest car in the game, next to the Lusso XT, the Monsoni, and the SLF450X.
• Both the Torque JX and the Paris Cop share the same engine sound.
