A Tuner is a car that is built for the purpose of being customized.
Tuners are featured in the Midnight Club games. In Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition, actual tuners are only present in Class D and C, with Class B tuners being pseudo-Exotics, they are used in the Unbeatable Street Racers car club.
Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition[]
In Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition, the Tuner Class is one of the first few classes the player is introduced to. The player can buy one of four tuner cars at the start of the game. The Unbeatable Street Racers club, is the club that specializes in driving Tuner Cars, which can be challenged after defeating Vanessa in her first challenge. Tuner cars use the Zone special ability. Completing all 13 races in the Unbeatable Street Racers Club rewards the player with the Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec (R34).
Class D[]
Class C[]
Despite being put into the Tuner Class, the Lotus Elise 111R lacks body customization options.
Class B[]
Despite being put in the tuner class, none of them are actual tuners and are pseudo-exotics due to lacking body options in the Body Shop, being limited to wheel customization, while the Dodge Charger SRT-8, despite having body upgrades, uses the Luxury cars body set instead due to being part of the Chrysler LX platform, which is shared with the Dodge Magnum R/T and Chrysler 300C.
Body Upgrades[]
- For more info on the body parts for Tuner Cars, please see Body Shop/Body Upgrades (Tuners). The body parts are the same for every Class D and Class C Tuner, except for the hatchbacks' spoilers, the Chevrolet Cobalt SS having no taillight options, and the Lotus Elise 111R and Class B tuners having no body options. The Dodge Charger SRT-8 instead uses the Luxury body part options
Midnight Club: Los Angeles[]

Trivia[]
- Despite being classified as Import Tuners, the Lotus Elise 111R and all Class B Tuners are technically a de facto Exotics/Concept, as they do not have any body kits available.
- The Dodge Charger SRT-8, despite being described as a new world Muscle Car, is put into the Tuner Class, but uses the Luxury Cars body part set.
- While the Dodge Charger SRT-8 is listed as a Class B Tuner, it's opponent selections are slower than the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII and Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec (R34), which get low-end Exotics or Class B Sport Bikes as their typical opponents.
- Despite being a Class C Tuner, the Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec (R34)'s performance when fully upgraded is at par with the low-end Exotics.
- This is likely due to it's higher upgrade costs, in which, the nitrous upgrade matches that of the Exotics.
