"Use the weight transfer to master bike handling. You can duck, wheelie and lean into turns by shifting your weight." - In-game description
Weight Training is a tutorial race and the twelfth career mode race in Midnight Club II.
Description[]
In Gina's third race, the player is subject to a time trial. Though the player must return to the start position within the time slotted, this course is mainly geared to allow the user to familiarize themselves with their new motorcycle, the Cohete. The lone checkpoint is located at the far outskirt of the city, in the industrial park. Whether attempting some new maneuvers, or simply putting oneself to the task of completing the race, head back to the Santa Monica beach for the well deserved finale.
Quotes[]
- "Hey, tiger! I'll give you a little time to get used to your new chop rocket. Hit the checkpoint to the other end of the city, then way back here in time for the start of the next race. Show me what you can do!" - Gina
- "I shouldn't be telling you this, but I like you, so here it goes. Use your weight transfer while pulling back on the bike to pop a wheelie, and it'll give you a boost in speed. See how long you can keep it up! (giggles)" - Gina
- "If you're too big of a sissy to use the wheelie, you can take up speed by ducking down to reduce drag, just hold weight transfer and push forward." - Gina (unused)
- "If you wanna reduce your drag, you can push forward while using weight transfer, you'll duck down and pick up more speed." - Gina
- "Forget the brakes! The best way to make sharp turns on the bike is to transfer your weight while turning. Trust me, I wouldn't stir you wrong!" - Gina (unused)
- "To make sharp turns without losing much speed, use weight transfer while turning." - Gina
- "Hey, hot-shot! Forget backing up on the bike, just burnout while turning sharply to turn your bike around and get going in the right direction!" - Gina
- "Hey, jockey! Want to score some style points with the chicks? Just slam your bike to a quick stop with the brake while pushing forward and using weight transfer. You should pop up on the front wheel and do a fat endo!" - Gina
