"Hey mister, listen to me for a second. I'm about to hook you up. DUB is running a little private tournament. We're talking real clean ride, friend. You gotta go and win one. But remember, you gotta be in a Class B car to enter." - Tomoya

"Class "B" vehicles only! Race against Tokyo's best in this 3 race tournament. Win and you'll be rewarded with a DUBbed out 2005 Dodge Charger SRT8." - Nav System description

The Wharf Tournament is the third tournament of the Tokyo Challenge in Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition (REMIX).

Summary[]

When the player wins their 6th Tokyo City Race, Tomoya calls the player, telling him that DUB is running a private tournament, with them only accepting entries from drivers who drive a Class B vehicle. The player must show up in a Class B vehicle, otherwise they will be denied entry, the tournament will be greyed out in the Nav System and hidden from the map.

The player races against 5 random opponents, in a three-race tournament with race 1 taking place in Ginza Circuit, race 2 being Tunnel Finish, and the last race being Sumida Bridges.

Opponents[]

  • Aoi
  • Kenta
  • Naoko
  • Tomoya
  • Yuri

Rewards[]

Upon completing the tournament, the player earns $9,000 and a DUB customized 2006 Dodge Charger SRT-8 being added to their garage, as well as being unlocked for purchase.

If the player has a full garage upon winning the tournament, or having already obtained a Charger SRT-8 early through illegitimate means, the player will be given $55,995 to cover the Charger SRT-8's price, along with it's custom DUB parts' costs.

Eligible vehicles[]

Trivia[]

  • Although the tournament is the third tournament unlocked in City Race order (requiring 6 Tokyo Races wins), the tournament is legitimately unplayable until the player unlocks Class B vehicles midway in Atlanta or wins the Ducati SS1000 from the Hotlanta Tournament.
  • Winning the tournament with the above method will result in the '06 Charger technically being the first B-Class car the player obtains, though not the first Class B vehicle, as the aforementioned sports bike is the first one that can be obtained.
  • Although the tournament is restricted to Class B vehicles, opponents can drive as fast as the Lamborghini Gallardo Coupe or Saleen S7 (naturally aspirated), if the player used the Dodge Viper GTS-R or any of the Class B Sport Bikes.
